Our Services
The goal of the Milwaukee Justice Center Mobile Legal Clinic (a project of the Marquette University Law School and the Milwaukee Bar Association) is to bring services provided by the Milwaukee Justice Center to neighborhoods where it may be difficult for those residents to reach free legal assistance.
The Expungement and Pardon Clinic, staffed by volunteer attorneys and law students, provides free, confidential assistance and brief legal advice and referrals for questions on Wisconsin criminal conviction records. Our services focus on assisting with pardon and expungement of criminal records.
We do NOT assist with civil or eviction records (see our information about Civil/Family Brief Legal Advice or visit the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics website for information on getting free assistance with civil/eviction cases).
The brief legal advice clinics are staffed by volunteer attorneys and law students. Volunteers provide free, confidential advice and referrals for questions on Wisconsin civil and family legal issues, including evictions (including eviction records), housing, small claims, debt/collections, probate, estate planning, divorce, child support, placement, custody, and more.
We cannot assist with active criminal cases or employment discrimination.
