Current Recurring Host SITES

Friedens Community Ministries has evolved from a parish food pantry that served the immediate neighborhood of Milwaukee’s Friedens Church at 13th & Juneau to a social service agency that serves clients throughout Milwaukee County.

We have been happy to partner at two different locations, Despensa de la Paz and Hope House.  We alternate between these two sites on the Third Saturday of each month between March and October.

At St. John’s West Milwaukee, their mission is “Love in Action”.  In 2011, we decided as a congregation that we wanted to focus on providing care to military veterans and their families, and have been doing so in great ways ever since.  Every Thursday morning, they host a breakfast for veterans.

This is our longest running site.  We have been there since 2013, and every fourth Thursday of the month we are present during the breakfast to offer our services.  This is our opening site every February and runs through October.

City on a Hill's vision is to break the cycle of generational poverty and bring transformation to central city neighborhoods. Through a collaborative and Christ-centered model of service, we are working to restore hope, reduce poverty, strengthen families and foster social justice.

We first visited City on a Hill-Milwaukee in 2017, and it has been a regular site in 2018.  We will be there every other second Saturday from March to November.

Meta House ends the generational cycle of addiction by healing women and strengthening families.

This is our first year in visiting this site, and we are happy to provide any assistance to those that need it.

Milwaukee Rescue Mission by Marquette compassionately serves men, women, and children who are homeless, hungry or poor to help them become whole in body, mind, and spirit for the glory of God.

We have been at this site since 2017, and we can be found on the second Friday of the month between March and November.

We are happy to return to the Milwaukee Public Library network after a break for a few years.

We will be alternating between two sites, Mill Road Library on the third Friday of every month between March and October.  We will be at Mitchell St Library every other month on the second Saturday from March to November.

Sixteenth St. Clinics aim to improve the health and well-being of Milwaukee and surrounding communities, by providing quality, patient-centered, family-based health care, health education and social services, free from linguistic, cultural and economic barriers.

We will be present on the fourth Monday of the month between March and October at the Parkway Clinic.

Bradley Crossing provides affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals, families, seniors, and people with disabilities.

We will be at Bradley Crossing every other month during the 2019 season on second Thursdays.
